Ups and downs

My day started off pretty good. Woke up, had breakfast, showered, went to dance... all was well.

Then almost immediately after we left dance, my mom got a phone call.

Twas my Uncle Kevin, who was playing the role of the messenger with bad news.

My grandmother died last night.

Those few words have tossed my life into turmoil. All of our plans for the next month are destroyed. We have no idea how my dad (who is in Iraq) will take it.

And, to top it off, it's right at Thanksgiving/Christmas-time.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING AND MERRY CHRISTMAS!
